Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, my passion for visual storytelling started when I was a child by watching and "helping" my dad shoot weddings, senior portraits, etc. At age 12 I picked up my first analog film camera. That hobby (obsession) eventually evolved into a love for filmmaking. 

I’ve loved working full time in the advertising and film industry for the last 5 years while I have been in school. I’ve always considered myself a "maker" in every sense of the word. Beyond filmmaking and creative writing, I’m usually busy working on cars, making music, or spending time with wood and metalworking. I love the process of building something from nothing and understanding how things work from the inside out.
